Despite contradictory information from WCF sources, site Automagazin.co.yu have stated that Citroen Sport director Olivier Quesnel has confirmed development of a Citroen C3 S2000 rally car for presentation in a few months.

As the most successful manufacturer of recent history in WRC, Citroen hopes to tap into the surging popularity of the series and give competition to rival newcomers Toyota and Skoda. Citroen hope to have a competitive car ready in time for FIA 2010 regulations.

These renderings of what the C3 S2000 could look like were supposedly released by Citroen. They look like a heavily photoshopped scale model to me.

I agree. it looks like a wicked diecast... I don't like the idea. between C2 and C4 the C3 is the less typical basic for a rallyecar.

It's a 3d rendering aright, but I've seen this one one of the forums that I'm on where people show off there work. SO it's likely there no truth behind this

hum, not real... why is there a car between the C2 and C4 rally cars? and this bears no resembelance to the original C3

The C3 Super 2000 would be based on the second-gen C3, which is said to be released in under a year.
