When this MPV prototype was caught out testing in the Swiss Alps the identity was unknown, the registration and camoflage shout out Hyundai or Kia but further analysis was still required before we could be sure. The prototype pictured appears to have a panorama roof along with five-lug wheels which we don't normally associate with small vehicles from the Korean brands.
Sources state Hyundai will show an C-segment MPV concept at the Paris Motor Show which will replace the Matrix but if we look closely at the grille in these pictures, it quite clearly shows a Kia styling. This leads us to the conclusion we are looking at the MPV version of the C-segment Ceed which is likely to go head to head with the new Golf Plus when it is released.
