Smart fans, all of them out there, now have even more to celebrate as the new special edition Smart fortwo rolls into UK showrooms at £9,575 per coupé and £11,525 for the cabrio, both OTR. The most visible additions to the standard model are additional equipment like the rev counter clock, leather gear knob and velour floor mats with leather trim. Interior finish is of luxurious cognac brown leather, complemented by a three-spoke leather steering wheel Exterior paint finish is unique and varies between shades, depending on the light that prevails at the time.

To tell the car apart from the outside there are badging letters reading “Limited Two”, 6-spoke alloy wheels on 15-inch rubber as well as the paint finish. This is in a metallic light blue hue with silver and beige tones appearing according to light conditions. Remaining standard is the car’s 71 bhp engine with capabilities of 70.6 mpg on the extra urban cycle, thus justifying its diminutive size. The counterargument from men who get laughed at for driving Smarts usually is; if men who drive huge cars are overcompensating for shortcomings elsewhere, imagine what can be expected from us who drive a Smart?

you don't buy this for the "love of cars" joe lemon hahah you buy this mostly for fuel economy, easy city driving, or for just plain old fun. Yea there's better cars out there but who cares. If a car can define your manliness, that's just sad.

all this stuff should be an option on the standard smart...

For a limited edition model, the exterior colour is too bland imo. I don't think that two-tone steering wheel works either!

How do they get 70.6mpg on the urban cycle in the UK and we get half that on our US version?

A transmission upgrade should be included in the package to really make it a special edition.
